Boundary Bay is to the south of Burns Bog. It is a shallow water body. Much of the bed of the bay is exposed during low tides. This forms "mudflats", which attract many
shorebirds. 20% of the world's total species of shorebirds can be found here. Like Burns Bog, Boundary Bay is an important stopover along the Pacific Flyway migration route.
