Cranberry farm

Site 13 of 14

Cranberry farming involves a large amount of water. That is because the growth of cranberry requires wet soils. In addition, the fields must be flooded during harvests. Bogs are good locations for cranberry farming because of the poor drainage. Ditches are dug to facilitate farming.
